Databarracks is a leading provider of cloud-first security services. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Financial Operations Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of Databarracks. This position involves delivering robust and accurate financial operations, management, and reporting to enable informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Flow Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for producing up-to-date cash flow reconciliations and forecasts, ensuring that the company maintains a healthy financial position.
  • Financial Reporting: The Financial Operations Manager will prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, and other financial reports as required.
  • Asset Management: This role involves maintaining the asset register, ensuring that all company assets are properly accounted for and valued.
  • Management Reporting: The Financial Operations Manager will produce monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other management reports to assist with business decisions.
  • Payroll and VAT: This role includes preparing and submitting monthly payrolls and quarterly VAT calculations.
  • Budgeting: The successful candidate will assist with the budgeting process, ensuring that the company's financial plans are aligned with its strategic objectives.
  • Compliance: The Financial Operations Manager will ensure that the company complies with all relevant financial regulations.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant is essential for this role.
  • SAP Experience: Working experience of SAP is highly advantageous.
  • Excel Skills: Good working knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Attention to Detail: The Financial Operations Manager must have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Professionalism: This role requires a professional and trustworthy individual who can maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: The successful candidate should have a good understanding of regulatory requirements and be able to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • SME Experience: Experience in a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) environment is highly desirable.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - 65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
