Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school in Chesham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with SEN in their day-to-day learning, providing individualized support to help them reach their full potential.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies, ensuring each student receives the support they need to succeed.
  • Support students' social, emotional, and physical needs in a nurturing environment, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages confidence and independence.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, or other learning difficulties.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support children in their educational journey.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of individual students.
