Job Summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Educational Support Professional to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers in implementing activities and lesson plans, ensuring a smooth and engaging classroom environment.
  • Individualized Support: Provide tailored assistance to individual students or groups in various subjects, addressing their specific learning requirements.
  • SEN Support: Assist students with special educational needs (SEN) by adapting materials and activities to suit their individual needs.
  • Supervision: Supervise students diligently to maintain a secure and focused learning atmosphere at all times.
  • Classroom Dynamics: Promote unity and positivity within the classroom, encouraging collaboration and respect among students.
  • Progress Evaluation: Aid teachers in evaluating student progress, offering valuable insights for educational planning and improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in working with children or in an educational environment, demonstrating a dedication to student achievement.
  • Passion for Education: Passion for assisting students, especially those with SEN, and a commitment to positively impacting their learning journey.
  • Teamwork: Strong teamwork abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with teachers, support staff, and students.
  • Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma; an education-related qualification or child development background is advantageous.

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This role is temporary, with potential for permanent placement in the future. Protocol Education prioritizes the welfare of children through safeguarding measures. We provide FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to our workers.
