About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to join our team at Dine Contract Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchens and service counters, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food experiences to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present delicious food to the highest standards
  • Supervise and motivate our culinary and catering teams to ensure excellent food and customer service
  • Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including inventory management, budget monitoring, and implementing action plans
  • Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets
  • Represent Dine Contract Catering and maintain a positive brand image
  • Identify opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Liaise between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we exceed expectations
  • Support and train our teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel in their role
  • Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of catering experience
  • Experience managing teams in a similar role
  • NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill
