Waste Management and Safety Expert

About the Job:
The Waste Management and Safety Expert will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to minimize waste and promote a safe working environment. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing control measures, and providing training to employees on safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement waste reduction and recycling programs
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Implement control measures to mitigate HSE risks to staff
- Provide training to employees on safety protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a waste management or safety role within a manufacturing environment
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
