Job Title: Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to join Recruit Mint Ltd in St Neots. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all Maintenance Team operations, guiding the crew to achieve business needs, and consistently monitoring Maintenance KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain a clear vision and roadmap for the Maintenance department
  • Analyze and control maintenance KPIs to drive improvement
  • Identify areas of waste and implement cost-saving measures
  • Develop and implement strategies to move Corrective Maintenance events to Preventative Maintenance
  • Support new projects and develop relationships with suppliers
  • Manage third-party contracts and contractor services
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and 1-2-1s with Team Maintenance Leaders
  • Monitor absenteeism and adjust working hours
  • Foster a safety-first mentality within the maintenance team

Qualifications:
  • Problem-solving mindset and strong leadership skills
  • Experience as a Change Agent and previous experience managing or working in a Maintenance department within manufacturing
  • Ability to manage a budget and lead a team

  • You will be able to motivate and inspire a team to deliver results
  • You will have a proven track record of driving improvement and achieving targets
