At Norfolk County Council, we are proud to offer a unique opportunity for experienced Social Workers to join our Family Help teams. As a Family Help Practitioner, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working collaboratively to meet the needs of children and families in a culture that prioritises relationships, direct work and extended family networking.

We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented groups at Norfolk County Council, including Black and Global Majority practitioners. We are committed to equality and diversity within our Family Help teams.

As a Family Help Practitioner, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • Competitive salary
  • Generous holiday entitlement with the ability to buy and sell leave
  • Health and Wellbeing services, including fast-track physiotherapy and a free counselling service
  • Flexible working opportunities, including flexi-time, part-time, remote and hybrid working
