**Location:** Richmond and surrounding areas
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to pupils with SEND
- Deliver engaging activities to promote learning and development
- Support pupils to work towards therapy targets
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to ensure effective support
- Be available to start as soon as possible
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEND, particularly SEMH
- Ability to work well within a team
- Passionate about working with children
- Patience and understanding approach
- Availability to work at least 3 days per week
