Logistics Planner Job Description

Permanent Futures is seeking a skilled Logistics Planner to join our team. As a Logistics Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, from inbound deliveries to outbound shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and coordinate all outbound deliveries, utilizing our company fleet and third-party providers.
  2. Oversee inbound and outbound delivery operations across multiple sites.
  3. Develop and maintain accurate inventory management systems.
  4. Utilize planning and scheduling tools to optimize delivery schedules.
  5. Organize and optimize our transportation fleet.
  6. Collaborate with management to achieve Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in supply chain logistics planning, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing demands and priorities.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process complex data.
  4. Transportation planning experience and knowledge of logistics software.
