About the Role

Hunter Dunning is a reputable independent housebuilder constructing high-quality, affordable homes in Hampshire. We are seeking a skilled Town Planner to join our Planning team, focusing on securing planning permissions for various projects and contributing to local regeneration efforts.

This position involves a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Managing the planning process, from site inspection to receiving planning permissions, and reporting to the Director of the department
  • Preparing and managing planning applications, conditions, and appeal documents for local authority submissions
  • Conducting research on previous planning applications for sites as necessary
  • Accurate record-keeping for internal systems and local authority planning policies and plan reviews
  • Representing the business at planning and consultation meetings
  • Staying informed about local planning policies and strategies
  • Obtaining and negotiating quotes from consultants and external engineers
  • Liaising with the wider planning team

We offer a competitive salary ranging between £28,000 - £32,000 DOE + mileage and a range of benefits, including 21 – 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, depending on seniority.
