Role Overview
This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older adults living with dementia.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and create a welcoming environment
- Support clients with daily tasks and provide emotional support
- Contribute to planning and delivering activities that cater to clients' interests
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth running centre
- Report any concerns or issues to the Day Centre Manager
Desirable Qualities and Skills
- Able to communicate effectively with older adults
- Patience, empathy, and kindness when interacting with clients
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Basic understanding of dementia and its effects
Training and Support
We provide comprehensive training, including vaccination against Covid-19 and an Enhanced DBS check.
Estimated Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 per year (pro-rata)
