Clinical Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coordinator to join our team at the Cardiology Department of Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust.

About the Role
  • This is a part-time position, requiring 19 hours of work per week, with flexibility to work on Mondays and Fridays until 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage clinic and diagnostic appointments efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional service when booking patient appointments, preparing clinics, handling telephone queries, and dealing with reception duties.
  • Evaluate waiting times for urgent and routine patients and ensure they receive treatment within agreed targets.
  • Liaise with clinical and non-clinical staff to maintain high standards of care.

Job Requirements:

  • Evidence of varied administration experience (e.g., working in an office environment, customer care).

Compensation and Benefits:

  • An estimated annual salary of approximately £28,000 based on a 35-hour workweek and national average hourly rates.
