We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust.

About the Role

This 12-month fixed-term position involves providing high-level administrative support to Consultant Nephrologists and Nurse Specialists, ensuring efficient delivery of patient care. Key responsibilities include managing clinic operations, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with teams and patients.

The successful candidate will possess a degree education, RSA III typing/word processing qualification, and varied secretarial experience. They will also have excellent IT skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage clinic operations, including scheduling appointments and managing cancellations
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with teams and patients
  • Provide high-level administrative support to Consultant Nephrologists and Nurse Specialists

We offer a competitive salary range of £24,071 - £25,647 per annum pro rata, depending on experience. This role provides an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.
