We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Clinical Physiotherapist to join our Medical Therapy team at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth. As a key member of our physiotherapy department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mobility and function, using advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques.
  • Develop and deliver individualized physiotherapy treatment programs based on evidence-based practice and sound clinical reasoning.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Supervise and coordinate junior staff, physiotherapy support staff, and students, promoting their clinical development and record-keeping.
  • Participate in research and evaluation projects, staying up-to-date with current research relevant to the specialty.

Requirements

  • Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree or equivalent.
  • At least 18-24 months post-qualification experience, with on-call competency.
