**Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Position Available**
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Primary SEN Teaching Assistant at Academics Ltd.
About the Job:
Key Responsibilities:- Support students with diverse Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and learning disabilities.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement personalized education plans.
- Provide assistance with daily tasks, such as personal care and mobility, as needed.
- Create an inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and achievement.
- Track and document student progress, offering constructive feedback to teachers and SEN coordinators.
- Promote social and emotional development, encouraging positive relationships among students.
- Partner with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to optimize student outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within an SEN context.
- A recognized qualification, such as a Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning, is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of SEN best practices and techniques for supporting students with additional needs.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to varied school settings.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is mandatory.
