Mental Health Pharmacist and Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Specialist Mental Health Pharmacist to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-focused clinical pharmacy services to patients within the Healthcare of the Elderly and Frailty areas.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of clinical pharmacy and drug use with a strong background in mental health care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver clinical pharmacy services that meet the needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services and advice to healthcare professionals.
- Act as team leader for the ward-based pharmacy team.
- Undertake teaching and clinical supervision of pharmacy staff and other healthcare employees.
- Develop and manage the delivery of pharmacy services to ensure efficient use of resources and systems.
- Work closely with the lead pharmacist and associate chief pharmacist for clinical services on the strategic development of clinical pharmacy services.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Pharmacy.
- Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy Certificate.
- Non-medical prescriber (or must be willing to undertake this when requested).
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
