At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring their instruments are running at optimal levels and resolving any technical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform field service-related duties, including installations, repairs, and maintenance services, to ensure customer satisfaction and instrument uptime.

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring they are equipped to operate their instruments effectively.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve instrument performance.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest instrument technologies and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Background in electronics, chemistry, physics, or engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience servicing analytical equipment, or equivalent experience in a related field.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.

• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel 5 days a week within territory.
