Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their analytical equipment is running at optimal levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform field service-related duties, including installations, repairs, and maintenance services for our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry instruments.
  • Provide technical support to customers, ensuring their equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest product knowledge and technical advancements in the field.
Requirements:
  • Background in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience servicing analytical equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance multiple tasks with different priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, self-motivational, and negotiating skills.
  • Proficient levels of PC literacy and valid UK driving license.
