About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Physiotherapist to lead our Rehabilitation team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing expert physiotherapy services to patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Physiotherapy team within Rehabilitation, ensuring high-quality patient care and effective team management.
  • Perform specialized assessments and treatments for patients with complex presentations and needs, providing expert advice and guidance to healthcare professionals and carers.
  • Undertake all aspects of clinical responsibilities as a skilled, autonomous, and advanced practitioner.
  • Actively lead the development of professional and service initiatives, contributing to organizational objectives.
  • Supervise, teach, and appraise Physiotherapy staff and students within the specialty.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of working experience at Band 6 level in the NHS.
  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in a related field at senior level (Rehab, Ortho, community).
  • Current registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Membership of a professional special interest group.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the form of a detailed personal development portfolio.
