Join Our Team as a Renewable Energy Engineer

As a Renewable Energy Engineer at Octopus Energy, you'll play a crucial role in installing low-carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps. You'll work as part of a team to deliver an outstanding experience, using your knowledge and experience to find solutions to challenges and share low-carbon advice with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install low-carbon technology in customers' homes, including Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Work as part of a team to deliver an outstanding experience
  • Use your knowledge and experience to find solutions to challenges and share low-carbon advice with customers
  • Review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Work with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Lead a team, be responsible for your crew, and empower them to make on-the-fly decisions to do what's right for you and your customers
Requirements:
  • Experience in the installation of boilers and knowledge of air source heat pumps
  • Experience as a plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and the ability to fault-find
  • Knowledge of domestic hot and cold water systems
  • Experience of reviewing and challenging technical specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Basic competency in electrical levels
  • Experience with hydraulic systems to design and quality standards - CIBSE and MCS
