Join Our Team as a Renewable Energy Installation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Installation Specialist to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our installation team, you will play a critical role in delivering our mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install low carbon technology in customers' homes, including Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Work with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Lead a team, responsible for your crew and empower them to make on-the-fly decisions to do what's right for you and your customers

Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 (or equivalent experience) within the Plumbing and Heating pathway
  • Full, clean Driving Licence
  • Experience in the installation of boilers and knowledge of air source heat pumps
  • Knowledge of heating system design and the ability to fault find
  • Domestic hot & cold water system knowledge
  • Experience of reviewing and challenging technical specifications & mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of and a basic competency in electrical levels
  • Experience with hydraulic systems to design & quality standards - CIBSE & MCS
