Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Tender Engineer to join our team in the Venterra Geoscience service line, employed by Ordtek and based in our Hethel, Norwich office. The successful candidate will develop competitive bids for projects, focusing on the construction and renewable energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage tender documentation, ensuring exemplary composition, content, and timely submission.
  • Represent the company at industry events to seek new business opportunities and expand the professional network.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to consolidate data for cohesive tender responses.
  • Refine proposal terms, ensuring compliance and protection with legal advice as needed.
  • Manage procurement activities, including prequalification questionnaires and registration of interest.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform client interactions, risk assessments, and assist in preparing and disseminating contract documents.
  • Manage the sales database, track business opportunities, and administer the archival and retrieval of tender-related documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Management or Administration, Project Management, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • Experience within a commercial setting, particularly in sales, operations, or contract management in the offshore industry.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, demonstrating advanced computer skills.
  • Highly organized and motivated, with strong communication skills, a good work ethic, and a commitment to technical excellence, personal efficiency, and career progression through Continued Professional Development.
  • Candidates must have their own transport due to the rural location of the office.
