Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sociology Teacher / Sociology ECT (Social Sciences) to join our team at a Secondary School. This is a permanent, full-time contract.
About the Role: The Head Teacher is looking for an individual who is keen to add value to an expanding Sociology Department. The school is well invested in the Education sector, setting new teaching practices and training staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sociology Teacher / Sociology ECT
- Inspiring and motivating students
- Working alongside a team of experienced Sociology Teachers
- Supporting the development of the Sociology Department
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching practices
Requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in the process of gaining
- Strong academic background, including a degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to listen to feedback and adapt teaching practices
