Brook Street Social Care is a leading provider in social care and housing solutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in quantity surveying roles, preferably in residential adaptations, housing projects, or DFG-funded schemes. They will also possess a strong understanding of the DFG framework, building regulations, and health & safety standards for disabled adaptations.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £50,000 per annum, based on industry benchmarks and the location of the role. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and career advancement, as well as a collaborative and supportive work environment.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment;
- Collaborating with Occupational Therapists, Architects, and Contractors to ensure proposed adaptations meet the individual's needs and are practical for the space available;
- Developing tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and contract documents;
