About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to provide administrative assistance to our Sales Account Managers across the UK, based at our head office.

This is a varied role that requires a strong work ethic and ability to multitask. Key duties include:

  1. Receiving and forwarding sales calls to relevant sales contacts within the company.
  2. Managing sales enquiries and updating company databases.
  3. Coordinating tender responses internally, working closely with Account Managers to meet deadlines.
  4. Creating and updating templates for NDA, PQQ, tender, and interview documentation.
  5. Managing sales teams' presentations and ensuring they are up-to-date.
  6. Setting up, copying, scanning, and storing documents, and updating internal databases as required.
  7. Reviewing and maintaining the accuracy of records, editing as necessary to ensure they are up-to-date.
  8. Assisting with coordinating and sourcing client entertainment and events.
  9. Liaising with and distributing project-related information to all levels of the project team and potentially external parties.
  10. Attending sales meetings as required.
  11. Managing CPD bookings.
  12. Conducting sales research from industry sources and feeding potential leads to sales teams.
  13. Handling sample requests in conjunction with the factory.
  14. Maintaining a file of drawings from recently completed projects.
  15. Providing reception cover in the absence of the receptionist.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience with CRM systems, and be confident in producing reports and using Excel.

Experience in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher, is essential. AutoCAD experience would be an advantage but not essential.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be positive, confident, and able to quickly establish working relationships with a variety of people.
