Job Summary

Dovetail and Slate is seeking a skilled Human Resources Coordinator to provide first-line HR support to our clients. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for delivering a professional HR service, ensuring compliance with processes, policies, and employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, handling employee relations matters such as investigations, recruitment, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation, assist with payroll preparation, and produce monthly and ad-hoc HR reports.
  • Coordinate with payroll on employee changes and ensure accurate payroll records.
  • Assist managers with probation reviews and support planning for staff training.
  • Manage employee sickness cases, including occupational health referrals and absence plans.
  • Provide support on family leave policies and produce HR reports on key metrics such as absence and turnover.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant HR records, systems, and assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Relevant HR experience, preferably as an HR Generalist.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards.
  • Experience conducting interviews, including assessments.
  • Experience managing the end-to-end employee life cycle.
  • Level 2 Maths & English.
  • Able to pass a DBS check.
  • No previous convictions.
