About the Role:

This Specialist Support Worker position is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students with autism. As an Autism Teaching Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated team at a local Secondary School in Dorchester.

  • Support students with autism, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies tailored to each student's needs.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience or training in supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, based on National Living Wage plus experience.
