About the Role

A unique opportunity has arisen for a skilled Multidisciplinary Facilities Engineer to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. This role will see you working on a daily basis across a large office site, providing critical maintenance and operation services to ensure seamless business continuity.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with proven experience in a similar role within a multinational environment. Your ability to meet tight deadlines and work collaboratively as part of a team will be invaluable in solving problems with professionalism and service-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reading blueprints/instructions and examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
  • Liaising with the Facilities Lead Technician for the site to ensure compliance with local legislation
  • Adhering to the Maintenance Management system in all engineering practices, including planned and reactive tasks, to meet and exceed expectations
  • Undertaking small installation works, repairs to electrical installations and mechanical plant/equipment quality arrangements
  • Carrying out all works in an appropriately health and safety-conscious manner following material safety instructions and using permits to work, risk assessments, method statements where appropriate
  • Accountable for ensuring that planned maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with tasks as set out and Site SOPs, processes, and any adopted procedures
  • Maintenance of plant and utilities to ensure appropriate and correct operation, efficiently and reliably operating within specification while maintaining records as required by Operational, Regulatory, and Statutory practice
  • Ensuring maximum availability of plant and user equipment through efficient planned maintenance and prompt response to faults
  • Providing technical support for projects and assisting with commissioning and handover works for plant and user equipment
  • Ensuring that all work orders are completed and issued and closed down in full compliance with the Equipment Maintenance System
  • Raising and issuing Change Control Notifications when required
  • Initiating and receiving Permits to Work in accordance with procedure, being familiar with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
  • Monitoring and interrogating the BEMS, incorporating energy efficiency control strategies where necessary
  • Marking up drawings and documentation to show changes and issuing to line manager
  • Installing new equipment when instructed by line manager
  • Reviewing, amending, and rescheduling PM Worksheets (Planned Maintenance) where better practices or efficiencies can be made
  • Collaborating in cross-training back-up with others, directed by line manager
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
  • Wearing personal protective equipment when conditions require or when required to do so by relevant risk assessment, method statement, or mandatory signage
  • Providing regular reports (daily, weekly, and monthly as required) to line manager regarding all engineering team activity
About You
  • Proven previous experience working in a similar role in a multinational environment
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team to solve problems with professionalism and service-focused approach
  • Knowledge of industry trends and direct experience or interest in facilities management and customer service
  • Striving for excellence in what you do and sharing ideas for improvement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multis-skilled and diverse team
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong understanding of the latest Health & Safety Regulations regarding corporate sites
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive a range of benefits including comprehensive training, opportunities for career progression, and a supportive team environment.
