Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all areas of the service have continual access to a member of staff whose role it is to ensure adherence to person-centred plans (including positive behaviour support plans).
  • Ensure and promote a continual focus on person-centred outcomes across the service.
  • Act as a guide and advisor for all staff, working to structured support plans and link to the established clinical teams in our services.
  • Ensure that prescribed interventions are delivered, that care plans are co-produced alongside the people we support and their families.
  • Collect and monitor outcome data daily.
  • Promote and uphold the privacy, rights, dignity, health and wellbeing of the individuals.
  • General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care to help Service Users.

Requirements

  • To succeed in this role, you must have an interest in and commitment to the practice of clinical psychology as an applied science or will have a career aspiration in a related discipline.
  • You will also be aware of current policy agendas relating to person-centred practice, values-based practice and the need for services to continually focus on reducing restrictive interventions.
  • Previous experience in working in services for people with Mental Health and Learning Disability is desirable.
