Job Title: Adults Learning Disability Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Adults Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team in St Athan. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.

About the Role:
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to adults with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of multi-professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each service user.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support service users to access community resources and activities, promoting social inclusion and participation.
  • Monitor and record service user progress, reporting any concerns or issues to the team.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months experience of working in a social care setting.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
