Vulnerable Children Support Role:
This position requires a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join the Children Safe and Protect Team. As a Social Worker in this team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing safeguarding plans, and collaborating with multi-agency professionals to deliver tailored support.

About the Role:
You will work closely with children and families facing complex challenges, conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs. You will also develop, implement, and monitor child-centered safeguarding and support plans, working closely with children, families, and multi-agency professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of children in need, children on child protection plans, and looked-after children.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor child-centered safeguarding and support plans.
  • Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory and professional standards.
  • Advocate for the voices of children, ensuring their perspectives are central to decision-making.
