Instrumentation and Automation Technician

We are recruiting for an Instrumentation and Automation Technician within Thames Water's operations in the Oxford area. The successful candidate will work in a multi-disciplinary team, alongside operational teams such as systems, mechanical, and electrical technicians.
Key responsibilities include installing, modifying, and commissioning new plant equipment, diagnosing and repairing faults in systems and plants, and identifying areas for improvement. Experience with PLCs and SCADA systems is essential, as is a HNC qualification or City and Guilds Part 2 or NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an instrumentation, control and automation discipline.
The salary for this position is around £40-£50k per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include a company van, paid annual leave, pension scheme, and access to wider employee benefits.
