About the Maintenance Technician opportunity


My client are a leading 1st tier automotive business who, due to continued growth, are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work on their automated production lines.


You will have previous experience in precision manufacturing, with skills including Mechanical and Electrical Support (Mech bias), knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and PLCs.


Maintenance Technician Deliverables


  • Maintain Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedule, attend to breakdowns and ensure maximum performance from vital production equipment
  • Fault-finding of PLC controlled equipment and robotics
  • Support Continuous Improvement activities


Maintenance Technician Person Requirements


  • Previous precision Manufacturing industry experience such as Automotive, Aerospace or Rail Systems
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician
  • Sound knowledge of Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems and Automated production equipment such as PLCs and Robotics


Desirable Maintenance Technician Requirements


  • 18th Edition or similar electrical qualification
  • Experience in Automotive industry
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 Quality Management System
