ASA Recruitment is seeking a skilled Community Works Operative to support our clients Roads & Community Works team in Inverness. As part of this team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the roads and contributing to a cleaner, safer environment for our communities.
Key Responsibilities:- General road maintenance, including winter care
- Use of powered tools, plant, and machinery
- Applying bitumen and maintaining footpaths and roads
- Supporting drainage and trench excavation tasks
- Collaborating with higher-graded operatives and assisting with various community works
- Experience in road and drainage construction
- Skills in kerb laying, bitumen application, and operating powered tools
- A valid driving license is essential
- Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments
- A strong team player with a flexible attitude and willingness to learn
