We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team at Spektrix. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of our team's work, ensuring that solutions are high-quality and aligned with our department's practices and principles.
You will be a member of our Technical Leadership Community and work closely with our Technical Strategy Group to iterate on our technical vision and strategy. You will then communicate and oversee the implementation of that strategy within your team.
Our cloud-native approach means using Azure PaaS solutions where possible to deliver value to our clients. Our technical strategy is to invest in simplifying the development and deployment of our applications and move towards a service-oriented architecture to allow us to scale and continue to operate a reliable platform that our clients and third-party developers can build their businesses on.
The ideal candidate will be practiced in technical leadership, agile delivery, and test-driven development. They will be excited about fostering a culture of collaboration where members of all experience levels can have opportunities to grow.
Key Requirements
- Be an experienced leader with a proven track record of aligning teams with their goals and stakeholders.
- Be able to communicate fluently and teach others the following working practices: pair programming, Kanban, test-driven development, and continuous integration.
- Have experience building and maintaining web applications in production environments, including common architectural patterns, databases, performance and monitoring, and security practices.
- Be comfortable safely refactoring legacy code.
- Be able to work alongside client-facing support and product owners to analyze business requirements.
- Be keen to learn new technologies and skills.
- Be receptive to feedback and able to give constructive feedback.
