The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operational HR activities, advising managers on employment legislation and policies, and engaging in employee relations cases.
Key Responsibilities- Support the HR function by managing day-to-day operational HR activities, including recruitment, employee onboarding, and benefits administration.
- Advise managers on employment legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Engage in employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, absence management, and performance reviews.
- Contribute to policy reviews and development, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Support the development of health, wellbeing, and employee benefit initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or relevant experience in an HR role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and employment law, with the ability to discuss and advise colleagues.
- Up to £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
- 25 days + BH.
- Standard Pension Contribution.
- 37.5 working week.
- Charity days (paid).
