European Bank for Reconstruction & Development is a pioneering international organisation that promotes transition in its countries of operations. As an Impact Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing the Bank's mandate to maximise its impact and ensure compelling communication of that impact.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Impact Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Banking department and other Bank groups to implement the Bank's transition impact architecture. In coordination with the Analytics & Results team, the post holder will assist in running an integrated system of ex-ante assessment, monitoring, self-evaluation, and knowledge management.

  • Assist sector impact economists in reviewing transition impact assessments and post-signing monitoring;
  • Contribute to the annual review of sector transition indicators and Assessment of Transition Qualities (ATQ);
  • Analyse aspects of project and operational impact under the direction of sector team economists;
  • Perform ad hoc assignments, including background research, drafting briefings, presentations, and short analyses;
  • Compile and maintain relevant datasets.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in economics or a related field from a leading university. You should also possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English and prior experience in project design and appraisal. Additionally, you should have a sound understanding of the EBRD mandate, strategic objectives, investment and TC operations, and knowledge of the Bank's transition impact methodology.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
