Job Description

The Investment Banking Analyst will work closely with experienced bankers to analyze market trends, identify investment opportunities, and structure transactions that meet the Bank's operational objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities;
  • Assisting in the preparation of due diligence reports, financial models, and other materials related to transaction execution;
  • Maintaining relationships with clients, advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution;
  • Collaborating with team members to monitor and manage the Bank's portfolio of investments, including identifying risks and opportunities for value creation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with diverse teams. A background in finance, accounting, or a related field is highly desirable, as is experience in investment banking, private equity, or asset management.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or economics; a Master's degree is preferred;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and prepare compelling presentations;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial modeling software;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines;
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges.

The European Bank for Reconstruction & Development offers a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience, as well as a range of benefits, including:
