The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Healthcare Governance Expert to join their team. This role will provide expert guidance on patient safety investigation methodology and support subject matter expects in completion of learning responses. The ideal candidate will have experience in safety investigation and applying safety science approaches.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading healthcare provider and make a real difference in patient safety. As a Healthcare Governance Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring that frameworks and processes are followed for learning assurance for Patient Safety Incidents, never events, patient experience feedback, and mortality reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on patient safety investigation methodology and support subject matter expects in completion of learning responses.
  • Ensure that frameworks and processes are followed for learning assurance for Patient Safety Incidents, never events, patient experience feedback, and mortality reviews.
  • Identify and oversee risks associated with patient safety and ensure that these are entered onto the Trust risk Register.
