Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Support Officer for Governance and Executive Matters to provide confidential, proactive, and efficient support to our Chief Executive in the delivery and continuous development of good governance and executive support. The successful candidate will have experience of providing support to formal meetings, including making arrangements, distribution of papers, and taking minutes. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing administrative support to the Chief Executive in their role as Company Secretary.
  • Serving on the Parish Support Team, working closely with staff and volunteers.
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of governance and electoral related information.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have experience of providing support to formal meetings, including making arrangements, distribution of papers, and taking minutes.

Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pro rata annual leave, healthcare cash plan (after six months), and contributory pension scheme.
