Job Title: Senior Governance SpecialistAbout the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Quadram Institute Bioscience as a Senior Governance Specialist, providing strategic oversight and guidance to support the Institute's mission to deliver healthier lives through innovation in gut health, microbiology, and food.

We are seeking a senior expert with experience in the UK research funding environment, alternative funding streams, or public health and policy arenas. The ideal candidate will have commercial acumen and a passion for leading the Institute's development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to strategic thinking and development, leveraging expertise in governance and oversight.
  • Engage with clinicians, academics, and industry experts to drive collaboration and innovation.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

The role is voluntary, with approximately ten days of commitment per annum. Expenses will be reimbursed.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
