Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Telesales person to join our client based in Essex. This new role will be developed and revised over time to maintain an effective and productive sales team, complementing the high level of service received by customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and establish customer accounts within the designated region or customer base.
- Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about products or services.
- Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.
- Answer questions about products or the company.
- Follow up on leads, answer sales calls, and respond to enquiries through to order placement.
- Effectively manage customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and collaborating with the Product Management team and factories as needed.
- Accountable for following up all sales leads and customer quotations.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and merchandising techniques.
- Maintain accurate records on area and customer sales for the region or customer base.
- Perform other associated tasks to ensure the effective and efficient running of the sales team.
- At least 2 years' experience in business-to-business direct sales, preferably in the tools/PPE sector.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Target-driven with a desire to succeed.
- Can-do attitude with focus on delivering customer satisfaction.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-confidence and self-motivation.
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
