We are seeking a skilled Communications Officer (Fundraising) to join our Marketing and Communications team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching, sourcing, and writing compelling fundraising stories and case studies that showcase the impact of our work.

About the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity

The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is the principal charity for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. We exist to support every sailor, marine, and their families, for life. Our mission is to deliver programmes that meet the needs of our beneficiaries, and we work hard to engage with supporters to raise awareness and funds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and write powerful fundraising stories and case studies that bring our charity to life
  • Work closely with the Fundraising team to ensure consistency with our brand and messaging
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage a busy workload, prioritizing and juggling multiple projects and deadlines

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a communications, marketing, or PR role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear narratives
  • Excellent interpersonal and engagement skills
