**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contract Engineer to join our team at MWH Treatment. As an Electrical Contract Engineer, you will play a key role in coordinating our delivery team and ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Project Coordination**: Assist in coordinating an effective and economic plant design and procurement strategy, ensuring timely information issuance for construction, commissioning, and putting to work in line with the Contract Programme.
  • **Cost Management**: Ensure project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance, and provide cost data for forecasts and evaluation of variations.
  • **Contract Administration**: Ensure all applications for payment are made on or before the due date, and complete contract reviews and monthly forecasts on time.
  • **Client Relationships**: Maintain good client relationships at all levels, and assist with the Project Management strategy.
  • **Contract Filing**: Establish and maintain the contract filing systems, and assist in the production of the contract programme.
  • **Progress Reporting**: Monitor programme and produce progress reports, and provide data for the timely production of O&M manuals.
  • **Subcontractor Management**: Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, and monitor subcontract performance.
  • **Documentation**: Assist in the preparation of the construction completion and take over documentation.
  • **Professional Development**: Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking, conferences, associations, and groups to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
  • **Communication**: Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback, and present a professional and positive image of the department and MWH Treatment.
  • **Confidentiality**: Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
  • **Collaboration**: Work closely with design departments to ensure timely progressing of quality solutions, and evaluate innovative solutions and processes.
  • **Risk Management**: Contribute to risk and opportunity schedules on a monthly basis.
  • **Design Safety**: Ensure designs are developed which are safe to construct, commission, operate, and maintain.
  • **Capitalization**: Complete the capitalization process.
