DBT Specialist Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled DBT Specialist Worker to join our team at St Andrews Healthcare.

This is a full-time role based in Birmingham, where you will have the opportunity to work with patients who require specialist mental healthcare services.

As a DBT Specialist Worker, you will be responsible for providing psychological treatments to patients via evidence-based multi-model interventions, such as Dialectical Behaviour, Cognitive Behaviour or other manualised treatment protocols.

You will also be required to organise and provide teaching and training as needed, and to collect and interpret data regarding the outcomes of interventions provided.

We are looking for a candidate with a recognised qualification as a therapist and the ability to risk assess and manage people with severe complex needs.

Training or experience in delivery of other psychological interventions is not essential but desirable.

St Andrews Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare services in partnership with NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations.

We deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.
