Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented MDT Coordinator to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and complete collection and management of the minimum data set for all patients to be discussed at MDT meetings.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians and administrators across the network. They will also have a strong understanding of data management and analysis, with the ability to provide basic analysis of data for clinicians and the Service Manager.
The MDT Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining filing systems for MDTs, ensuring that all patient pathways are correctly mapped and appropriately tracked. They will also be responsible for identifying bottlenecks/delays in the patient pathway and escalating these to the Service Manager as appropriate.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the NHS and its values, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. They will also have a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and complete collection and management of minimum data set for all patients to be discussed at MDT meetings
- Maintain filing systems for MDTs, ensuring all patient pathways are correctly mapped and appropriately tracked
- Identify bottlenecks/delays in patient pathway and escalate to Service Manager as appropriate
- Provide basic analysis of data for clinicians and Service Manager
- Develop and instigate MDT service improvement projects
