Are you a skilled Podiatrist looking to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6/7 Podiatrist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the UK.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality wound care as part of our multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for delivering specialist podiatry services across our 4 main Trust sites, covering acute podiatry services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. With full training and support provided, you will have the chance to develop through a structured competency-based programme if needed.

The department has an ongoing education programme and offers supported CPD opportunities. As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to secure high standards of multidisciplinary care for all patients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Delivering Specialist Podiatry Services: Providing specialist podiatry care for in-patients and out-patients across our Trust, adhering to national and local policies and clinical guidelines.
  • Working as Part of a Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborating with other podiatrists, healthcare professionals, and ward-based staff to deliver comprehensive care and achieve high standards of service delivery.
  • Specialist Clinical Practice: Working in the OCDEM Diabetic Outpatient Foot Clinic, liaising with other professionals, and ensuring seamless patient care.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • MA/MSc (or equivalent): Holding or working towards a Master's degree in Podiatry or a related field, demonstrating academic ability and experience.
