About the Role
This exciting opportunity has become available to work on the Coronary Care Unit at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an ambitious and eager individual who wants to make a difference within the healthcare profession, providing high quality patient care as a Health Care Assistant.
The role of the Health Care Assistant in the department is to assist registered nurses (or other healthcare practitioners) in providing patient care. To maintain patients' privacy and dignity at all times and provide care in a compassionate and sensitive manner.
The salary for this position is around £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist registered nurses in providing patient care.
- Maintain patients' privacy and dignity at all times.
- Provide care in a compassionate and sensitive manner.
- Develop and maintain competencies in nursing tasks to ensure high quality safe care.
Requirements
- National Care Certificate or commitment to complete as part of induction process.
- NVQ 2 in care (willingness to complete within one year of start date) or equivalent experience.
