Becoming a Care Services Pharmacist at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board will give you the chance to work in a wide range of settings, from hospital pharmacies to community clinics.

You will be responsible for providing expert advice on medication management and contributing to the development of practice guidelines.

The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective clinical pharmacy services to allocated clinical areas.
  • Undertake professional clinical pharmacist duties, including provision of on-call services.
  • Provide pharmaceutical advice and support within both primary and secondary care services as required.
  • Assist in providing clinical training and supervision of other pharmacy staff.
  • Be involved in the development and delivery of practice research.

Requirements:

  • Degree in pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
