About the Roles

We are seeking four experienced professionals to join our team as Heads of Service responsible for our Home First, Access and Digital, Learning Disability and Autism, and Mental Health and Safeguarding service areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and clear leadership for your area of responsibility
  • Support the Assistant Director by translating policy into service delivery
  • Anticipate and respond to national, regional and local drivers
  • Provide senior level policy advice, guidance and support
  • Work with colleagues to promote and develop new ways of working
  • Lead cultural change and improvement programmes
  • Establish frameworks, targets and performance measures
  • Ensure value for money, quality service delivery and drive forward continuous improvement

About the Team

As a Head of Service, you will be a key member of our Adults and Communities Senior Leadership Team. You will work closely with departmental colleagues and partner organisations to maximise opportunities and support for the people of Leicestershire.
